Tailstock Die (and tap) Holder. Here is the tailstock die holder I made for my home shop and the process I went through to design and build it. I've also incorporated a modified ER16 collet chuck to hold taps which works great - in particular for small taps. The design itself is very simple and this is a great project for the home shop.
I have a full set of drawings for free on my blog if you are interested. You can make this design or use it as a starting point for your own.
No more messing around with bulk die handles (for the most part) on the lathe anymore!
Watch Joe's video on setting precision angles on the compound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCllVu4K738 This is how I set the 2 degree angle for the Schaublin lathe.
